Lauren and Josh's celebration at Wellington Barn was filled with fun and personality by the bucketload!

From the very start, it was clear this wasn't going to be your average wedding. I began my coverage at Lauren's home, documenting the bridal preparations with her bridesmaids. I was delighted to discover that Kamila Roberts was working her magic with hair and makeup – it's always lovely to catch up with fellow creatives!

The morning was beautifully relaxed, but we had one very special guest keeping everyone entertained: Lauren and Josh's dog, who clearly knew something exciting was happening. Spoiler alert - this furry friend totally stole the show later in the day!

The weather gods were absolutely smiling down on us with glorious sunshine and not a cloud in sight. It was hot – hot enough that many of the guests seeked out the shade of the trees for most of the day – but that just added to the joyful, carefree atmosphere.

One thing that immediately caught my eye was how much cars meant to this couple. Lauren arrived in a vehicle that held deep sentimental value - she and her dad had worked on it together years earlier. The car theme continued throughout their reception too. Their tables were named after racetracks that Lauren and Josh had visited together. Even the place settings featured miniature 3D models of their favourite cars!

The ceremony itself took place outdoors in Wellington Barn's beautiful wildflower meadow, surrounded by the rolling hills of the Wiltshire countryside. It's such a romantic setting and provided the perfect backdrop for their vows. But the real star? Their dog, arriving at Wellington Barn to act as ring-bearer, complete with a doggie tuxedo and orange bow-tie that perfectly matched the bridesmaids' dresses.

After they said "I do," Lauren and Josh made their exit through a cloud of confetti leading their guests to the drinks reception.

With Wellington Barn's expansive grounds at their disposal, Lauren and Josh had laid on a few games to keep their guests entertained. Cricket was set up for the sports enthusiasts, swingball for those wanting something more energetic, and space hoppers! Lauren and Josh were quick to start a space hopper race - it just had to be done!

Wellington Barn near Calne really is a beautiful location for couples who want a relaxed countryside wedding. Lauren and Josh's celebration perfectly showcased why this Wiltshire venue works so well for fun-loving couples who want their wedding day to be an authentic reflection of who they are.
