When it comes to relaxed countryside weddings filled with laughter, sunshine, and a good old-fashioned knees-up, Faith and George’s celebration at Owl Lodge in Lacock will be hard to beat.

Set in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside, Owl Lodge is a rustic barn full of quirky character. It’s the perfect venue for couples who are looking for a chilled-out vibe for their big day.

And what a day it was!

The weather gods were smiling down on us with a gloriously hot and bright day. With their guests sheltered inside the open-sided barn, Faith and George exchanged their vows in the sunshine flanked by their Best Man and Maid of Honour.

After the ceremony, the relaxed tone of the day continued with emotional speeches which was then followed by a buffet-style BBQ. Marshfield ice cream followed (I can highly recommend the Funky Banana!) - the perfect treat to help everyone cool down in the heat whilst soaking up the countryside views.

One of Faith’s biggest requests when we spoke prior to the wedding was sunset photos. With the weather on our side, we struck gold. We headed out into the fields behind the venue (Faith and George wearing their personalised wedding sunglasses) and spent a few relaxed moments capturing couples portraits in the golden light.

And then… the party started! The dancefloor was immediately packed, and it was clear that this crowd came to dance! Faith and George’s friends and family made sure the marquee was buzzing!
