Harriet and Jake’s wedding at Eastington Park was relaxed, joyful, and bursting with personality. From the moment I arrived, it was clear this wasn’t just a wedding; it was a heartfelt family celebration, filled with love, laughter, and an unmistakable sense of ease that perfectly reflected Harriet and Jake themselves.

When they first got in touch, Harriet and Jake were clear about one thing: they wanted a photographer who wouldn’t make them feel on show. They were looking for someone who could blend into the background, document the day naturally, and help them feel comfortable in front of the camera. I'm so honoured they chose me and even more delighted to hear, afterwards, that I had delivered exactly what they’d hoped for:

A Wedding Made for Family – and Fellow Camera Lovers

One of my favourite things about this day was how much thought had gone into making it a celebration everyone could enjoy. There was a strong sense of family at the heart of everything, from the heartfelt speeches to the free-spirited dance floor later in the evening.

But what made this wedding truly unique? Harriet’s love of photography! As a keen photographer herself, she had worked some wonderfully personal touches into the day.

At the reception, each table was named after a camera model, and the best part? The camera was right there on the table for guests to use! These weren’t just centrepieces, they were invitations to get involved, to play, and to see the day through different lenses (quite literally).

There was even a dedicated photo table complete with Polaroid cameras, extra film, and a peg-frame so guests could display their instant shots throughout the day. It’s these kind of details that make a wedding feel so interactive and personal.

Harriet and Jake had created the kind of wedding day that moved seamlessly from one lovely moment to the next. Nothing felt rushed, and there was a beautiful balance of celebration and calm.

They gave me the freedom to move around unobtrusively, capturing everything from the big emotional moments to the quiet in-between ones. That kind of trust is something I value deeply, and it made my job a total pleasure.
