Moonraker Hotel Wedding Photography - Cerys and Andy

How would you describe the weather this Spring? “Changeable” perhaps? Except that just seems to be a huge understatement at the moment!

Such was the weather for Cerys and Andy’s special day at The Moonraker just outside Bradford on Avon. In fact, when I set off from home to make my way to the venue, I was convinced that we would be indoors the entire time, arriving as I did in a shower of rain.

Thankfully the rain abated just at the right time allowing Cerys to make her way across the garden and make her entrance into the ceremony room. Excitingly the Bridal Party made their entrance to the theme from The Detectorists - a lovely folk tune written by Johnny Flynn. I was also excited to see that Cerys had chosen to wear her Mum’s wedding dress - such a lovely and touching idea.

When Cerys and Andy had booked me, they had opted for my micro-wedding package in order to document their ceremony and drinks reception. And boy did we manage to squeeze a lot in! I was able to document their guests arriving, candidly photograph the ceremony, cover the confetti throw and formal photos (which thankfully were all able to take place outside whilst the rain stayed away), photograph them cutting their (cheese!) cake and also have time for some couples photos as well as capture detail photos of their reception room.

Below you will find a small selection of my favourite photos from the day. To view the full gallery, please contact Cerys or Andy.
