Family Photography at Oldway Mansion

A couple of weeks ago I took a drive down to Paignton to undertake a family photoshoot in the grounds of Oldway Mansion. I very rarely drive so far for a family photoshoot, but after a few stressful weeks I decided that it would be a great excuse to stay away for an evening. I'm so glad that I agreed to do it.

Although it was the start of October, you could have been forgiven for thinking that it was the middle of summer! We were treated to brilliant blue skies and it was so warm that our coats were discarded almost immediately!

Meeting up with the Blackwell's has become a bit of a yearly tradition and it's always so lovely to meet up them, have a catch-up and see how the boys have grown. We spent a very pleasant couple of hours wandering the grounds of the Mansion - sadly the house itself has been closed for many years with no current plans for development. The dahlias were still in full bloom which made me very happy and the boys had fun pretending to be aeroplanes and watching the squirrels run around by the pond. We were even photobombed by one or two!

Here are some of my favourite images from the day.
